What is the Futures & Options Scalper Offer?

The Futures & Options Scalper Offer allows traders to take advantage of 0 fees on closing trades. Traders only need to pay a fee when opening a position, and no fees will be charged when closing it. This enables quick scalps without worrying about additional costs.

Eligible Users:

All KYC-verified users who give their consent by clicking "Join Now" on the pop-up that appears on the Trade page will be able to participate in the offer. This pop-up can be accessed by clicking on the scalper offer banner present on the markets page or the "Scalper Offer" mentioned under the "Fees" section on the Trade page. Trades that are taken before giving consent will not be considered under this offer.

Futures Scalper Offer

This offer applies to all Coins Futures trades where the position is closed within 15 minutes. Traders only pay fees when opening the position, and closing fees are waived.

• Partially Closed Positions: The offer applies to partially closed Futures positions within 15 minutes

Options Scalper Offer

This offer applies only to BTC Options trades closed within 1 hour. Traders only pay fees when opening the position, and closing fees are waived. Trades placed after 12 PM IST will not be classified as scalping if they are for contracts that expire within the next 5 hours and 30 minutes. This means that if a trader executes a trade post-12 PM IST for an options contract that is set to expire at 5:30 PM IST same day, then it will not be considered as a scalping trade. This offer does not apply to ETH Options trades.

• Position Closing Fees: Waived for eligible trades

• Not Applicable to: ETH Options trades

• Partially Closed Positions: The offer applies to partially closed BTC Options positions within 1 hour

How Does It Work?

To understand the benefits, let's look at a few examples.

Example 1: Buy and Sell 1000 contracts of BTC USD Perpetual as Maker

Trade Details:

Buy Price of BTC: $60,000

Maker Fees: 0.02% x Order Notional Size

Order Notional Size: Number of contracts x Lot size x Price of BTC 

1000 x 0.001 x $60,000 = $60,000

Position Opening Fee: 0.02% x $60,000 = $12*

Now let’s suppose the BTC price moves to $60,200 and you want to capture this movement by closing this position.

Sell Price of BTC: $60,200

Taker Fees: 0.05% x Order Notional Size

Order Notional Size: Number of contracts x Lot size x Price of BTC 

1000 x 0.001 x $60,200 = $60,200

Position Closing Fee: 0.02% x $60,200 = $12.04*

Your Net Profit (Without Scalping Offer) = PNL - Fees = (60,200 - 60,000) - (Opening Fee + Closing Fee)

= 200 - ($12 + $12.04) = $175.96

Your Net Profit (With Scalping Offer) = PNL - Fees = (60,200 - 60,000) - (Opening Fee + Closing Fee)

= 200 - ($12 + 0) = $188

After participating in the Scalping Offer, your net profit is increased by $12.04

Example 2: Buy 1000 contracts of BTC USD Perpetual as Maker and Sell it as Taker

Trade Details:

Buy Price of BTC: $60,000

Maker Fees: 0.02% x Order Notional Size

Order Notional Size: Number of contracts x Lot size x Price of BTC 

1000 x 0.001 x $60,000 = $60,000

Position Opening Fee: 0.02% x $60,000 = $12*

Now let’s suppose the BTC price moves to $60,100 and you want to capture this movement by closing this position.

Sell Price of BTC: $60,100

Taker Fees: 0.05% x Order Notional Size

Order Notional Size: Number of contracts x Lot size x Price of BTC 

1000 x 0.001 x $60,100 = $60,100

Position Closing Fee: 0.05% x $60,100 = $30.05*

Your Net Profit (Without Scalping Offer) = PNL - Fees = (60,100 - 60,000) - (Opening Fee + Closing Fee)

= 100 - ($12.0 + $30.05) = $57.95

Your Net Profit (With Scalping Offer) = PNL - Fees = (60,100 - 60,000) - (Opening Fee + Closing Fee)

= 100 - ($12 + 0) = $88

After participating in the Scalping Offer, your net profit is increased by $30.05.
