As AI quietly rewires entire industries, from financial trading to cybersecurity, the Ethereum Foundation is putting forward a considered answer to a pressing question: where does blockchain fit in an AI-dominated future?

The answer, according to the EF, is not where most people expect.

Crypto markets are trying to stabilize after a volatile week, but the recovery remains technically fragile. Bitcoin has rebounded toward $82,000–$82,500, while Ethereum is trading near $2,420, yet both remain below key breakout levels. BTC has reclaimed its short-term 20, 50 and 100-period averages on the 2-hour chart, but the $82,700–$83,000 zone remains the immediate hurdle. A sustained break could open $83,500–$84,000, while failure to hold $81,700–$82,000 would bring $81,000 and then the $80

Crypto markets remain firmly risk-off, with the latest decline extending the post-CPI weakness and developing into a significant leveraged-long flush.
Bitcoin briefly fell toward the $80,000 region, while Ethereum dropped toward $2,320 and continued to underperform. The weakness is broad-based, with ETH, SOL and XRP falling around 5–6% and several smaller altcoins recording double-digit declines.

The macro backdrop remains challenging following hotter-than-expected U.S. inflation, which reinfor

The U.S. inflation picture is becoming more important for the Federal Reserve’s next rate decision.

Recent PCE data has been softer than expected, while the labour market has weakened. That has reduced expectations for another immediate rate hike.

The focus now shifts to the upcoming CPI inflation report.

For traders, the key question is simple:

Will the next CPI report confirm that inflation is cooling, or bring back expectations of another Fed rate hike?

CPI vs PCE: Will Upcoming Inflation Data Change the Fed’s Rate Path?

The U.S. economy is giving the Federal Reserve a mixed picture.

Inflation has cooled more than expected, GDP has been revised higher and consumer spending remains strong. At the same time, the labour market is showing signs of slowing.

That mix has taken some pressure off the Fed to hike again in October. But the story is not over. Friday’s September jobs report, followed by the next CPI report, could determine whether another hike before year-end remains a serious possibility.

U.S. Treasury yields are rising again, and this is becoming a global market story.

The 10-year Treasury yield has moved above 5%, while longer-dated yields have reached their highest levels in years. The latest move has come as U.S. growth remains strong, oil prices are elevated, inflation risks remain, and markets are pricing the possibility of more Fed tightening.

But the important question is not just where yields go from here.

It is what higher U.S. yields do to the rest of the world.

Rohit has two options to choose from:

This is unlikely to solve all of these issues. The bigger question is whether both sides can keep tensions under control and avoid another round of escalation.

Bitcoin had plenty of reasons to fall this week.

The Fed delivered a 25 bps hike to 3.75%–4.00%, its first hike since 2023. The September projections also leave room for another hike if inflation remains elevated. For a risk asset like BTC, higher rates and tighter liquidity are normally negative.

DeFi in 2026 is moving beyond the old rules of chasing TVL and APYs. After years of yield farming cycles, protocols are no longer judged by how much liquidity they attract but rather by what they can actually do with it.

The shift matters because TVL alone does not tell you how the liquidity is being used. Capital efficiency is the filter between platforms that can survive real-world usage and protocols that fade once rewards slow down.

Saylor argues that as Bitcoin's influence expands across finance, technology, and geopolitics, its community is naturally fragmenting into four distinct ideological camps.

This matters for anyone tracking cryptocurrency market trends. Each camp has its own goals, its own risks, and its own pull on price action. Understanding them sharpens you

Michael Saylor's Four Bitcoin Camps: What They Mean for Crypto Market Trends

Bitcoin hit an all-time high of just a over $126,000 in October 2025. But Q1 2026, it had fallen 46%.

Meanwhile, AI stocks kept climbing.

The argument comes from Dan Morehead, founder and CEO of Pantera Capital, one of the oldest dedicated crypto investment firms in the world. He made it

When a sovereign wealth fund quietly triples its position in a single asset, people pay attention. When that asset is Bitcoin, and the fund is backed by one of the world's wealthiest nations, it's a story worth unpacking.

In Q3 2025, the Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC) - an arm of the UAE's Mubadala sovereign wealth fund - increased its stake in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust from 2.4 million shares to nearly 8 million. That's a 230% jump, bringing their total exposure to over $518 milli

Ethereum has transformed from energy-intensive PoW to PoS through The Merge, then tackled layer-2 scaling with Dencun. High fees and fragmentation persist as core hurdles for broader adoption.

Between the July 29 and September 16, 2026 FOMC meetings, the Fed shifted from a cautious, wait-and-see approach to a more hawkish stance under Chair Kevin Warsh.

July: Cautious Pause

In July, the FOMC kept the federal funds target range at 3.50%–3.75% in a 9–3 vote.

Inflation was still elevated, but the Fed chose to wait for more evidence before tightening further. Financial conditions had also tightened, particularly through the Treasury market, giving the Fed some room to stay patient.

A Fed Divided Over Inflation and the Next Move

The September FOMC meeting is shaping up to be an important test of how the Federal Reserve views inflation and the appropriate path for interest rates.

Markets are increasingly positioned for a 25bp rate hike, taking the federal funds target range from 3.50% - 3.75% to 3.75% - 4.00%. The bigger question is what comes next: another increase later this year, or a pause as the Fed assesses the impact of tighter financial conditions.

The Treasury buyback also failed to calm the bond market. Treasury announced up to $6B of purchases, but the actual operation accepted around $5.2B. The 10Y yield moved towards 4.95%, while the 30Y remained above 5.3%. Higher oil a

Hotter Inflation, Higher Yields: What It Means for BTC & Gold

With inflation still above the Federal Reserve’s 2% target, the upcoming CPI report could play a pivotal role in shaping the Fed’s next move on interest rates. Rising energy prices, Treasury yields and shifting expectations around monetary policy have made the inflation data particularly important for markets. For most of crypto’s existence, the entry point for every participant has been consistent: convert traditional money into digital tokens and begin trading. That model has defined the industry’s growth - and its reputation for speculation.

But a new thesis is quietly gaining traction in investment circles.

Multicoin Capital, a multi-billion-dollar crypto investment firm, believes the next major wave of adoption will not come from people buying tokens but from people earning them.

An iron condor is a four-leg, non-directional options strategy built from a call credit spread and a put credit spread on the same expiration. Also known as a short iron condor, it collects premium upfront and profits when the underlying crypto asset stays between the two short strikes until expiry.

In the world of crypto options trading, there are many strategies that traders can use to maximize gains and reduce risk. One such strategy is the Iron Condor, a popular and effective options tradin

The morning star pattern is a three-candle bullish reversal signal that can form at the end of a downtrend: a long bearish candle, a small-bodied “star” candle that shows indecision, and a long bullish candle that closes above the midpoint of the first candle’s body. It suggests sellers are losing momentum, but it is not a guarantee of a reversal, so traders usually wait for confirmation from volume, a support level or an indicator such as RSI before acting on it.

The VWAP indicator (Volume Weighted Average Price Indicator) is one of the most widely used technical analysis tools for intraday trading.
